In most browsers, refreshing the page should do the trick. If this doesn’t help, you can try the “hard” update using ctrl + shift + R on Windows, or shif + cmnd + R on iOS. The browser should automatically prompt you again to grant access to the camera and microphone.

If neither helps, please try the more detailed instructions below, or try opening the site in another of the supported browsers.
Google Chrome (On PC 💻)

The camera icon should be visible in the URL entry bar on the right. After clicking on it, it is possible to grant the site the necessary permissions.

Just select the “always allow” option and then refresh the page again.

Google Chrome (On Android phone or tablet 📱)

If you regularly log in from your mobile phone, we recommend downloading the mobile app "Hedepy" (available in the Apple and Google store), which will prevent you from having any problems with enabling the microphone and camera. 🙂

However there is also an option using Google Chrome as a browser:

  1. Launch the Chrome app on your Android device .
  2. To the right of the address bar, click the Arrange options icon →  Settings.
  3. Click on Site Settings.
  4. Click Microphone or Camera.
  5. Tap to turn the microphone or camera on or off.
  6. If you come across the site you want to use in the Blocked section, tap it Access MicrophoneAllow.

If you’ve turned off microphone access on your device, you can change the permissions of Android apps so that they can use the microphone.

If you’re using a Chrome device at work or school, your network administrator might have configured your camera and microphone settings. In this case, you will not be able to change them here. Learn more about working with a managed Chrome device

Microsoft Edge (On PC 💻)

You can use the camera and microphone for sites in Microsoft Edge. Even if the camera and microphone are enabled for Microsoft Edge, you must still grant permissions for each site before they can use the camera and microphone. Here’s how:

  1. Go to a website that wants to use your microphone or camera.
  2. If a dialog box appears asking if you want to grant the site permission to use the camera or microphone, select Allow once or Always allow, or close this dialog box if you want to block access.

If you closed the permission window, try refreshing the page using ctrl + shift + R. If the update does not help, you will need to adjust the permission settings.

Edit permission settings

  1. In Microsoft Edge, select Settings and More and then select Settings.
  2. Select Advanced and then under Site Permissions select Manage Permissions.
  3. Select the site you want to manage.
  4. In the Camera or Microphone section, set the switch to On to allow access to this site.

Then refresh the page.

Firefox (On PC 💻)

All you have to do is reload the page and then grant permission to use the camera and microphone via the “Allow” button.

Alternatively, you can click on the camera and microphone icon in the URL bar:

and use the cross next to “temporarily blocked” to cancel the block. You must then reload the page and grant permission.

If this doesn’t help either, you’ll need to adjust the settings in “Preferences> Privacy & Security> Permissions.” In this case, please follow the official guide.

Safari (On PC 💻)

As a first aid, it should help refresh the page and re-grant permission with the allow button.

If this menu doesn’t load when you update, it means you’ve probably inadvertently blocked your permission permanently.

In that case:

1. Select “safari> preferences” in the top control bar.

2. Select the “Websites> camera” section and find the Hedepy.cz website. Change the “Disable” drop-down box to “Enable”.
